I bring a topic and discussion regarding a certain focus of health and wellness such as balanced diet, ways to increase exercise, setting realistic goals, mindfulness in our daily lives, or even less “health related” topics such as healthy communication, or recognizing a sense of purpose in our lives. Information on the topics may be provided to employees as a future reference. These are a fun and productive way to generate team building, while educating on wellness at the same time!
This is done on a monthly or quarterly basis to increase accountability towards health & wellness goal setting. The day can be divided into time slots for employees to select, allowing it to be flexible to the work schedule. Employees who engage in this sort of practice provided by their workplace often feel a greater sense of autonomy and have better communication skills regarding their needs!
